Written Answers. - Disabled Persons Maintenance Allowance.

443.

asked the Minister for Health if he will specify the terms of any Departmental circulars or instructions to health boards outlining the rules under which the disabled persons maintenance allowance is to be granted; and if he will make a statement specifying these rules to be applied in any such circular or instruction.

I am arranging to have a copy of the relevant circulars forwarded to the Deputy.

444.

asked the Minister for Health if he is satisfied that the terms of any circular or instruction issued by his Department to the health boards outlining rules for the administration of the disabled persons maintenance allowance are ultra vires.

I am not aware that any of the terms of circulars or other instructions issued by my Department regarding the allowance are ultra vires.
