Vol. 356 No. 9

Written Answers. - Meath School Transport.

494.

asked the Minister for Education the number of school buses excluding mini-buses providing transport to national schools and second level schools in County Meath; if there were any new school buses provided in 1983 and 1984; and if there is a need to provide any in 1985.

The total number of buses, excluding mini-buses, operating school transport services in County Meath is 40.

The number of school buses employed has remained constant since the 1982-83 school year. The position from September 1985 will depend on the number and location of eligible pupils for whom school transport will need to be provided.
