asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in the response to representations made by Deputy Geoghegan-Quinn on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Limerick East): The person in question is an alien who has made certain applications in relation to his status under the Aliens Act, 1935, and the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1956. Consideration of the applications has not been completed. When it has, a reply to her representations will issue to the Deputy, as indicated in the acknowledgment which issued on 1 November 1984.
