asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the likely breakdown of local authority essential services resulting from the proposed strike of craftsmen scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 19 March; and (a) if he will accede to the recommendations of the Labour Court on this matter; (b) if he will intervene directly to avert a work stoppage; and (c) if he will make a statement on the matter.
