The position with regard to the new primary school referred to is that the Commissioners of Public Works have prepared a sketch scheme. It is understood from the commissioners that this scheme will shortly be sent to my Department, where it will be examined urgently from an educational standpoint with a view to a grant being sanctioned towards the cost of the project. It is not possible at this stage to say when construction may start.
