Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

532.

asked the Minister for the Environment if, as a matter of urgency, he will have a house inspected for a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford because of the absolute necessity of bringing this house up to a proper standard.

An inspection will be carried out as soon as possible in this case with a view to the approval of a grant, if in order.

533.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A new house grant will be paid to the person named when an inspection establishes that the house is complete and occupied and complies with all the other conditions governing the grant scheme. The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report.
