I take it that the Deputy's question refers to ex gratia retirement payments to, or in respect of, former employees of Irish Shipping Limited who had sea-going service on Irish vessels during World War II. I am most anxious to have these payments made immediately but a Supplementary Estimate, and possibly legislation, will be required before this can be arranged. Everything possible is being done to have these processed urgently.
