I am not in a position to indicate when capital funding will be made available for the proposed welfare home in Roscommon town. I am currently preparing a draft capital programme and until this is completed it will not be possible to make specific commitments in relation to particular projects. The proposal to provide a welfare home in Roscommon town will be considered in the context of the various capital projects currently being proposed throughout the Western Health Board.
