Planning of an extension to St. Jarlath's Tuam has progressed to the stage where the bills of quantities have been received in my Department for examination. When the bills are found to be satisfactory the question as to whether the project will be allowed out to tender will be considered in the light of the capital available and the Department's other commitments to be met. I am not in a position at this stage to say when work will commence on the project.
