Applications of schools for remedial teaching posts are processed by my Department's inspectorate and available posts are allocated in accordance with a priority of need. The application of these schools was not placed sufficiently high in order of priority of educational need to warrant the allocation of a post to date. The application will, however, be further considered in the light of the availability of such posts in the future.
