The increases from September 1985, in the income limits and maintenance elements of grants under the higher education grants scheme referred to in the document Building on Reality 1985-1987, will be included in the specimen scheme which will be issued to local authorities in connection with the preparation of their schemes for 1985. It is expected that the specimen scheme will be issued to the local authorities towards the end of this month.
