Vol. 358 No. 5

Written Answers. - UK Pensions.

560.

asked the Taoiseach the number of persons in receipt of United Kingdom pensions who are currently resident in Ireland.

The value of United Kingdom national insurance and war pensions paid to persons resident in the Republic of Ireland was IR£81 million in 1983 and IR£98 million in 1984. This information is provided by the United Kingdom authorities but they are not in a position to estimate the number of recipients involved.
