I replied to similar questions from the Deputy on 23 April, 1 May and 7 May 1985. In the intervening period the following grants were approved for projects in County Galway.

In addition eight applications were approved under the enterprise allowance scheme. Five of these applicants are married and will receive £50 per week and the remaining three who are single will receive £30 per week. Grants of £20,000 and £46,573 were approved for two firms under the AnCO domestic industry grants scheme. Three firms were approved grants of £60, £45 and £690 respectively under the AnCO technical assistance grants scheme.
