Vol. 358 No. 6

Written Answers. - Funding of Schemes.

612.

asked the Minister for Labour the total amount of money spent under all schemes funded and administered by his Department; the names of the projects funded; and the amounts of money allocated to these projects from 1 January 1983 to date.

Given existing staff resources it would not be possible to compile the information required by the Deputy in respect of each individual project funded since January 1983. For example, some 7,000 projects have been approved under the enterprise allowance scheme since it was introduced in December 1983 and the Deputy will appreciate the difficulties in compiling a list of the names.

The following are allocations from the Exchequer and youth levy for programmes in years 1983, 1984, and 1985.
