Of the substances which are subject to international control under the United Nations Convention on Psychotropic Substances, 1971, preparations containing diethylpropion, mazindol and phentermine, are currently being sold in this country.
The preparations are subject to product authorisations issued by the Minister for Health on the advice of the National Drugs Advisory Board which specified the conditions under which which they may be marketed.
