On 13 May 1985 the Department of Education sanctioned a grant towards a major scheme of improvements to Lettermullen national school, County Galway. The manager of the school has requested additional improvements which will be discussed with him next week. Subject to agreement being reached on these works the preparation of contract documents will be put in hands promptly and will take about three months to complete. The manager will then be advised on the invitation of tenders.
It is not possible to say at this stage when building operations will commence.
