Vol. 359 No. 4

Written Answers. - Prisoners' Rights.

53.

asked the Minister for Justice if prisoners travelling to Spike Island are entitled to a full Irish breakfast on the train to Cork.

Limerick East): Offenders travelling to Fort Mitchel Spike Island under escort do not travel by train. They travel by road transport. Offenders returning to Fort Mitchel from temporary release may use the train. In those circumstances the offender is entitled to use the train's dining facilities at his own expense.
