Vol. 359 No. 10

Estimates, 1985. - Vote 18: Rates on Government Property (Revised Estimate).

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £13,059,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1985, for rates and contributions in lieu of rates, etc., in respect of Government property, and for contributions towards rates on premises occupied by Representatives of External Governments.

Vote put and agreed to.

A Cheann Comhairle, on a point of order, I think you overlooked the Vote for the State Rescue Fund which should be moved in this House as quickly as possible.

The Deputy cannot make a speech serious or otherwise.

Deputy Geoghegan-Quinn has been given permission to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of her Private Notice Question today that was disallowed, or rather the addition to that which deals with the release from prison of the person who was imprisoned today.
