Vol. 360 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

147.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a calf subsidy for 1982 was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork when in fact his stock were tagged and checked by his Department's inspector.

The person named was not paid calf premium grants in respect of calves born during 1982 as he failed to produce certificates of birth issued by my Department's staff. The production of such certificates is required under the conditions of the calf premium scheme that applied to calves born between 20 May and 31 December 1982.
