A site has not yet been purchased for the proposed new regional college in Castlebar, County Mayo. My Department are pursuing actively the question of acquiring a site. Apart from consultant's fees which will arise in the architectural planning process, the provision of funds for the project will not be in question until the tender stage has been reached.
