Last January, in the progress report on the first year of the Programme for Action in Education 1984-1987, I announced that a single deed of trust community school would be built in Castlerea, amalgamating the secondary school and the vocational school. I am glad to inform Deputy Leyden that the architectural planning of the new school complex incorporating the good buildings at the secondary school has commenced. Consultants were appointed last May. The target completion date for the building project is September 1988.
