On 1 November 1985 a total of 3,781 persons were employed on 863 projects under the social employment scheme. In addition, 1,353 new projects capable of providing employment for over 5,000 persons have been approved. As statistics are compiled on the basis of national manpower service regions, it is not possible to provide details in respect of individual counties.
