I assume that the Deputy is referring to the Inter-departmental Working Group on Tax Enforcement, the establishment of which I announced in my 1985 Budget Statement. The working group have recently submitted their report to the Government. The report is confidential and it is not intended to publish it. The recommendations in the report will be considered by the Government in the context of future policy in relation to tax collection and enforcement. Certain of the tax reform measures announced by the Taoiseach in the House on October 23 last reflect recommendations in the report of the group.
