asked the Minister for the Environment when the sewerage scheme at Carrick-on-Bannow, County Wexford, will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A revised preliminary report for the provision of a sewerage scheme to serve Carrick-on-Bannow was approved by my Department on 30 November 1984. It is now a matter for the local authority to submit contract documents for examination and approval and I understand this will be done shortly.

70.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the go ahead will be given for the sewerage scheme at Castlebridge; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that Wexford County Council are at present preparing contract documents for a sewerage scheme at Castlebridge. When the documents are finalised, it will be a matter for the local authority to submit them to my Department for approval.
