The information sought by the Deputy is published in the finance accounts, which are issued annually in June. The rates of pension applicable on 31 December 1984 were increased by 3 per cent on 1 January 1985 and by a further 3 per cent on 1 July 1985 in line with pension increases in the public service. Five widows of former holders of ministerial office who are listed in the latest finance accounts died earlier this year, i.e. Mrs. M. Cunningham, Mrs. A. Mac Eoin, Mrs. H. Norton, Mrs. K. Lemass and Mrs. R. Sweetman.
