The provision of a single co-educational secondary school in Kilcock, to be managed jointly by the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters, has been approved by my Department. Architectural planning of the proposed school has commenced, and an outline sketch scheme has been received in the Department. This scheme is acceptable subject to minor amendments, and the school authorities have been authorised to proceed to the next stage of planning, i.e. developed sketch scheme.
