Vol. 362 No. 10

Written Answers. - Quality (Clare) Pier.

43.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry when it is proposed to have the lights at Quality, County Clare, switched on.

With the assistance of a grant from my Department pier lighting was provided by the Office of Public Works at Quilty pier. The operation and maintenance of the lights was taken over by the Clare County Council in September 1984 and accordingly the question of switching on the lights is entirely a matter for the Clare County Council. I am taking the matter up with the County Council.

Question No. 44 withdrawn.
