An application has been received from the school authority for a grant towards the replacement of windows at Kilrush CBS. My Department has recently requested additional information from the school manager and when this is received the matter will be further considered.

The question of the proposed extension to the Christian Brothers primary school at Kilrush, County Clare, was discussed recently in my Department's offices with the chairman of the board of management and further consultations have yet to take place before a decision on the matter will be made. I will let the Deputy know the outcome of the discussion as soon as possible.
