Vol. 362 No. 14

Written Answers. - Redundancy Payment.

119.

asked the Minister for Labour when redundancy moneys will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford who worked for over eight years for the South-Eastern Health Board.

My Department have not received an application for payment of a redundancy lump sum in this case. It is understood, however, from the South-Eastern Health Board that the person concerned was not eligible for payment of a lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts as she was not normally expected to work for at least 18 hours per week for the board and her employment with the board was not insurable for all benefits under the Social Welfare Acts.
