Pending the final disposition of the MV Irish Spruce at present berthed in Marseilles, the vessel is manned by a crew employed by the liquidator of Irish Shipping Limited. The crewing and other care and maintenance costs of the vessel are being met by its owners, Jura Shipping Limited, who are being recouped from the Exchequer arising from the Minister for Finance's guarantee in respect of the leasing of the vessel by Irish Shipping Limited.
