The amount payable by ESB under the provision of section 7 of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1982, is £23 million in 1985 and £24 million in 1986.
The Exchequer dividend payable by Bord Gáis Eireann under section 11 of the Gas Act, 1976, is £80 million in 1985 and £62 million in 1986. Of course these companies pay other contributions in the normal course of business.
