Vol. 363 No. 8

Written Answers. - Connemara (Galway) School.

83.

asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for grant assistance for the provision of a ball court for Tully national school, Connemara, County Galway; and if so, when a decision will be made in the matter.

My Department has received and has under consideration an application for grant assistance for the provision of a ball court for Tully national school, Connemara, County Galway, and will be in touch in the near future with the school authorities to discuss the matter. My Department's professional advisers have indicated that because of the uneven nature of the site the proposal would be extremely costly. It is likely that a significant proportion of the costs would not be eligible for grant assistance.
