asked the Minister for Labour the reason the estimate is reduced from £4.25 million to £1.832 million (1986) under "P" employment incentive scheme.
Written Answers. - Employment Incentive Scheme.
84.
In the unabridged 1986 Estimates volume to be published shortly, a total provision of £5.332 million is being indicated for the employment incentive scheme — £1.832 million under subhead P (employment incentive scheme) and £3.5 million under subhead T (grant-in-aid fund for training and employment of young persons). In addition a sum of £0.306 million will be made available from the employment guarantee fund.
The total provision for 1986 is therefore £5.638 million, equivalent to an increase of £1.388 million or 33 per cent on the 1985 provision.
