asked the Minister for Health the number of trips undertaken by him and his staff in 1985; the destination, purpose and cost of each trip; and if he can estimate the cost of official trips in 1986.

It would not be feasible to extract the information requested by the Deputy in respect of my Department in the time available, £100,542 was spent on foreign travel in my Department during 1985 and provision has been made for a total of £115,000 for 1986.

It would not be feasible in the time available to extract the information requested by the Deputy in respect of my Department. Expenditure in 1985 on foreign travel by my Department amounted to £74,000 while provision has been made in 1986 for expenditure of £97,000.
