In a letter dated 29 October 1985 I received a detailed submission from the North-Western Health Board regarding the provision of a purpose-built day centre for mentally handicapped adults at Carndonagh, County Donegal, I think this may be the proposal to which the Deputy refers. It is being examined in my Department at present as part of a general review of services for mentally handicapped people in the North-Western Health Board area. I expect to be in contact with the board on the matter during the coming weeks.
