asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford can have an application for a house improvement grant reconsidered in view of the urgent necessity of the works to be carried out.

This application which related to the replacement of windows-doors has been rejected because, contrary to a condition of eligibility, the required waiting period of seven years from the date of payment of a previous improvement grant in respect of the house has not elapsed. The applicant has been so informed.

58.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a final inspection and payment will be arranged for a house improvement grant applicant (details supplied) in County Wexford on a portion of the works which are now approved and completed in view of her inability to complete all the works approved.

An inspection will be carried out as soon as possible with a view to payment of the grant approved for the carrying out of works to the fabric of the house. Payment will be conditional on the satisfactory completion of all work to the fabric of the house specified in the certificate of approval.

59.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £5,000 surrender grant will be paid for a former local authority tenant (details supplied) in County Wexford.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare.

There is no record of the receipt in my Department of an application from the person named.
