asked the Minister for Health the capital allocation to each health board in the years 1983, 1984 and 1985; and the purpose for which the money was allocated.

The capital allocation to each health board in the years 1983, 1984 and 1985 is set out in Table 1. The total allocation to health boards for each of these three years is divided by category of service in Table 2.

Payments to voluntary hospitals and to other voluntary agencies are not included in these figures.
