Written Answers. - Malicious Injuries Compensation.
The actual number of malicious injury claims made on or paid by local authorities in 1984 is not available in my Department. The estimated total amounts of compensation paid in respect of such claims are contained in the following tabular statement. The 1985 estimated amounts for Dublin Corporation and Dublin County Council are £7.898 million and £4.488 million, respectively.
