asked the Minister for Agriculture the amount paid out on 31 December 1985, under the programme for western development 1981-91 which proposes an expenditure of £300 million under the following headings: (a) infrastructure; (b) direct farm aid; (c) forestry; (d) agricultural training; and (e) agricultural marketing and processing.

Expenditure on the programme for western development up to 31 December 1985 was £103.749 million as follows:
