Written Answers. - In-Vitro Fertilisation.

41.

asked the Minister for Health if he intends to introduce legislation on in-Vitro fertilisation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Medical Council of Ireland have decided that therapeutic application of in-Vitro fertilisation within the framework of the guidelines as set down by the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is acceptable.
