Vol. 364 No. 4

Written Answers. - Kenagh (Longford) National School.

158.

asked the Minister for Education when he intends to proceed with the building of a new national school at Kenagh, County Longford.

My Department has agreed to grant-aid the provision of a new national school at Kenagh, County Longford. The preparation of contract documents is in hand but as enrolments have been falling it has become necessary to review the accommodation needs. The local inspector has been asked for a report in the matter and when this comes to hand the outcome will be conveyed to the school authorities and a final decision will be taken on the extent of the accommodation to be provided. Arrangements will then be made to complete the contract documents.
