It is not possible to sanction a local loans fund loan for this project but my Department have invited Clare County Council to furnish an application for sanction to a loan from another source. If such an application is received, I will consider it as sympathetically as possible having regard to the other demands on the allocation for miscellaneous environmental services under the public capital programme.
