asked the Minister for Health the present position concerning the proposed new hospital at Tallaght, County Dublin.

Since the winners of the architectural competition were announced, a design team consisting of architects, consulting engineers and quantity surveyors has been approved for the completion of the development control plan for Tallaght hospital. This development control plan was recently submitted by the Tallaght Hospital Board and is being considered by my Department at present. Planning permission has been granted by Dublin County Council for the development of a number of phases of the hospital.
