Vol. 364 No. 7

Written Answers. - Working Capital Scheme.

142.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware of a statement made by the County Donegal representative of the Irish Farmers Association National Grain Committee calling on the lending institutions and his Department to co-operate more fully in relation to the administration of the £2 million national interest subsidy for tillage losses; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The associated banks and the ACC, who are operating the working capital scheme have assured me they are aware of no significant difficulties with regard to its administration in Donegal or in any other area of the country.
