Preliminary discussions have taken place between officials of Donegal County Council and my Department's inspectorate regarding the proposed housing scheme at Carndonagh. A formal submission from the council is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the proposal to provide a sewerage scheme in Carndonagh, a report of which has been sent to him by the Donegal County Council.
The preliminary report for the Carndongh sewerage scheme is under examination in my Department at present. There will be no avoidable delay in issuing a decision on the proposals when this examination is completed.
