Vol. 365 No. 1

Written Answers. - Reduction of Fuel Costs.

120.

asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry in view of falling oil prices, if he will introduce proposals to reduce fuel costs for fishermen.

Fishermen are benefiting automatically from the reduction in oil prices. They also receive a refund of the excise duty on oil used in sea-fishing. I have therefore no further proposals in mind to reduce fuel costs to fishermen.
