Vol. 365 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

116.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have a tax rebate issued immediately to a firm (details supplied) in County Westmeath.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes will not be in a position to deal with the taxpayer's claim for repayment of C45 tax deducted until such time as he receives details of the taxpayer's total assessable income for the first year of trading. The inspector wrote to the taxpayer's agents on 24 March 1986 advising them of the position, and awaits their response.
