Limerick East): The management committee of the Irish Goods Council normally comprises 13 people who are representative of a wide range of industrial and commercial activities. A vacancy has arisen on the management committee and I am in the process of selecting a suitable person to fill this vacancy. I am aware of the work undertaken by the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management and I will give the appointment of a representative of the institute due consideration in my deliberations.
