Vol. 365 No. 8

Written Answers. - Non-Marketing of Milk Scheme.

68.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid the remainder of a grant for non-marketing of milk which is due to him; and if he will accept the reason for the delay was the faulty tags which were used on this man's herd by his Department's officials.

No further premium is payable to the person named under this scheme unless he can account for six animals which he did not present for inspection in January 1985. The problem with tags did not occur until 11 months later and consequently had no bearing on the six missing animals or on the payment of grants under the non-marketing scheme.
