At my direction, Bord Fáilte are intensifying their efforts to encourage more Irish people to holiday at home this year. The measures being taken include, for the first time, the publication of a "Discover Ireland Bargain Breaks" brochure in tabloid newspaper form advertising 2-day, 3-day and 7-day holiday breaks. The brochure will be issued on a bi-monthly basis and the May/June issue has just been released.
